How to come

The Symposium will be held in the amazing Castle of Santa Severa, on the Tyrrhenian Sea, 60 km North of Rome.

There is a train connection from Rome Central Station (Roma Termini) every hour: it takes only 58 minutes and the price is 4,10 eur (one way). First train departs at 5:26; last train departs at 23:27.

If you arrive by plane at Rome Fiumicino, there is a train every hour to Rome Trastevere, where you will find your connection to Santa Severa: it will take 1 hour and 35 min., and it will be 11 eur.

Accommodation

There is a hostel recently refurbished with amazing individual, double and shared rooms inside the Castle. Every room is equipped with private bathroom and some of them have a stunning seaview.

If you prefer to choose another accommodation, there is plenty of possibilities in Santa Severa, Santa Marinella, Civitavecchia and surroundings. Just take in account that connections can be a little difficult during the low season: check the trains in advance (www.trenitalia.com) or consider renting a car.

You can also decide to stay in Rome, where you will easily find several different options.
